Nürburgring 2026: a clients-only track day at the Green Hell
Karl organised a private trip to the Nürburgring for a small group of DW clients. Three days, one race-prepped Glenturret 911 Cup, and the most demanding circuit in the world.

Servicing, maintenance, restoration and performance - a family workshop run hands-on by Karl and Jess.

Featured discipline
Restoration at DW is unhurried by design. Every shell is stripped, photographed and assessed before a single panel is ordered. We work on a small number of projects at any time so each car has our full attention.

Why owners stay with us
DW Performance Cars is run day-to-day by Karl and Jess. There is no service manager between you and the workshop - when you call, you speak to the people doing the work on your car.
We work on Porsche, exclusively. Tools, software and experience all sit behind that decision.
Quotes are written in plain English. Anything we find mid-job is discussed before it is invoiced.
The same technicians look after your car visit after visit, year after year.
We deliberately keep our client list small so every car has the attention it deserves.

Meet the workshop
Karl has spent his career under the rear deck of a 911. He started DW Performance Cars to do Porsche work the way he always thought it should be done - independent, transparent, and personal. Every car that comes through the door is looked at by Karl himself before any work is quoted.
Alongside Jess, who runs the office and keeps the workshop ticking, Karl looks after a deliberately small client list of owners who want their cars in the hands of the same person, every visit.
“Each job is personal and essentially bespoke. There really isn’t a one-job-fits-all in this industry - especially with Porsches. We just want every owner to feel listened to and understood.”
A workshop for every Porsche owner
Specialist workshops can feel intimidating. Ours is not. Whether it is your first Porsche or your fifteenth, whether you are booking an MOT or planning a full restoration, you will be listened to, taken seriously and given a clear, honest answer.
Jess runs the front of house and is usually the first voice you will hear. She is also a passionate advocate for women in the automotive industry, and is committed to keeping DW a workshop where every owner feels equally welcome on the phone, by email or in person.
We will explain what your car needs without the jargon, and never sell you work you do not need.
Every owner gets the time to understand the job before, during and after.
No two Porsches are identical. Each job is scoped to the car and the owner, not a price list.
A respectful, inclusive workshop, with no machismo and no condescension. Ever.
Race Events
Karl runs a small number of organised track outings each year for clients who actually use their cars. Here is the most recent.

Three days at the world's most demanding circuit. A handful of cars, our own technicians on the ground, and the Glenturret-liveried 911 GT3 Cup leading the charge. Karl reports back from the paddock.
